Schools

Visits

School groups are invited to visit the museum outside normal opening hours, which can be arranged with the Visits Co-ordinator.

Activities

Schools can find out about all aspects of local history and also use the museum in cross curricular activities. There are activities suited to most age groups. The museum is set out in chronological sections which date from the Pre-historic age to present day. There are also interactive activities for children.
