Dad worked at Halton camp for 22 years everyday push biking from Chesham road Wiggington down to Halton camp through the woods over the Chiltern escarpment. When he finally retired he took an ‘easy’ retirement job again push biking from Hawridge to Chesham in the early morning and taking the morning post run round Bellingdon before returning home at lunchtime.
