Visits

School groups are welcome to visit the museum and can make bookings by contacting the Education Officer, Sue Gore.  School groups are able to visit the museum at times not normally open to the public.

Activities

Schools can find out about all aspects of local history and also use the museum in cross curricular activities. There are activities suited to most age groups and we liaise with individual teachers to cater for different needs. The museum is set out in chronological sections which date from Pre-Iron age to present day. There are also interactive activities for children.
